Aaron Bocanegra, the owner of Whatartist, studied fine art photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology. At R.I.T he developed a passion for both the technical and creative aspects of the art form. Through Whatartist his work has traversed a variety of styles within photography including Documentary, Travel, Fashion, Product, Food, Catalog, Event, Portrait, and Music.
